Do de do

Taking a quick break at work, thought I'd say hi to all you fellow xanga peeps!

I haven't been on here for awhile, even though I do receive updates each day in my email. I've changed "houses" to facebook, seems to work better for me for some reason. Maybe it has to do with my old computer?

I just changed shifts again at work, this time to five "straight eight" days as they call them here. Yay! Recently moved as well so if you ever have to fly into Orlando, please come and see me (I live less than 5 miles away)...

Ah, what times have been had...

As most of you know, I was to have been married by this time. This is not what God wanted for me at this time, and we are both stepping back and learning from this experience. It is honestly too soon to know what will happen.

I recently went fulltime at work (a huge prayer request answered!) but now work 4 long days each week. Sure is nice to have the weekends off, but it makes for a rough work week for sure.

Laura went in to work the other day (wed) and because of intense pain, checked herself into the ER. After many tests, they concluded that her appendix would need to be removed the next morning. She has had a few complications and just was released today (sun). The semi amusing part was that somehow the rumor mill at church was that she was in the hospital bleeding to death, so there was a rash of calls on sat to kill that rumor. Wow. Can't say I ever had rumors spread like that about me!  Er, not that I would, mind you.

Well that's about it for now. Hope everyone out there is fine and dandy!

As I sit here and wait for my laundry to dry, i thought

I'd do the unusual

  • Surveys are hard to conduct, I've come to learn. Why won't teachers say yes when they know it's a must in order to graduate? Fortunately I found Dr. Diaz, a chemistry teacher, to let me use a few minutes of class time. Now I can still graduate! Three cheers for Dr. Diaz :)
  • Speaking of graduation, I finally have a date and time: May 3, 2007 at 3:00pm      CAN'T WAIT!
  • Lesley is a new auntie!!!
  • Both Jen and Nicole are set to have baby boys too, can't wait to see them!
  • Went to Miami and took a test for Customs, we'll see what happens with that.
  • Its definitely ~SPRING~

So the strangest thing happened today...

I was at work, doing the mindless job of guarding the exit, when I did a slow turn and saw...

Kim LaMantia!

Yeah, we both had one of those slow-montion, jaw-dropping moments, and then slowly recovered. It was, by chance, my turn for break, so I walked her to baggage claim and we were able to do a quick catch up.

Turns out she was in town to help out...Stephen Leckenby, who came to pick her up.

Wow, what a smallish world.

In other news, my waking moments are spent trying to find another place to live, which is not going the best. Hopefully this week will turn out something promising. What are ya'll up to? Have a fun week!

 Happy Birthday, Les!

Hope it was splendid, and lovely...

I really miss our times together...

Seems like we've been through almost everything in just a few short years.

Stay strong, love ya much!

(LOL, I was posting this when you called...and this comes before my other stories :)
